A humble gas station, slowly being engulfed by its surrounding farmland, was easy to miss on this quite stretch of rural highway in Canada's most populous province.
Brush and overgrowth, leading up to the pumps and tiny structures, crunched under our feet as we approached for a few photographs. A faint, warm breeze fended off heat from the cloudless sky as an occassional car would lazily pass by on the country road.
A few minutes later we were back in the car and zooming toward the next random moment of serendipity.
